Debbie is a mystery novelist whose work blends page‑turning suspense with emotional honesty and a lived-in Christian worldview. She is the creator of the Carson McAllister Mystery Series, featuring a sharp-witted journalist‑sleuth navigating truth, danger, and the quiet battles of the heart. With a voice influenced by Sue Grafton’s clipped wit and observational precision, Debbie writes stories that entertain while offering encouragement to women seeking to walk closely with Father God in a complicated world.

Her fiction is driven by three core commitments:
-
Present a compelling, character‑driven mystery.
-
Encourage women in their relationship with God.
-
Portray how a woman can face a broken world with grace, courage, and Christ‑like integrity.
A longtime student of craft, Debbie is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and the former president of Sisters in Crime - Atlanta Chapter. Debbie is passionate about building community among writers. She is currently working to launch a Christian writers’ group focused on fellowship, craft, and spiritual growth.

When she’s not writing, Debbie enjoys riding along with her private investigator husband of 31 years, reading, cooking, and fellowshipping with family and friends.
