She is the creator of the Carson McAllister Mystery Series, featuring a sharp-witted journalist‑sleuth navigating truth, danger, and the quiet battles of the heart. With a voice influenced by Sue Grafton’s clipped wit and observational precision, Debbie writes stories that entertain while offering encouragement to women seeking to walk closely with Father God in a complicated world.

A longtime student of craft, Debbie is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and the former president of Sisters in Crime - Atlanta Chapter. Debbie is passionate about building community among writers. She is currently working to launch a Christian writers’ group focused on fellowship, craft, and spiritual growth.
